My name is Beth VanderZee and I am excited and honored to join the Lyon County Chiropractic Team in the spring of 2011. As Dr. Cody and Dr. Myhre's new Chiropractic Assistant, what I look forward to most is seeing new and familiar faces come in and out of the office everyday. Because I grew up mostly in Rock Rapids, I feel very fortunate to be able to work and be involved in such a great community.
My husband, Jake, a native, and I were very excited to have the opportunity to move back to the area in 2009, after living in Eastern Iowa for several years. Jake is now employed by the State of South Dakota as a Probation Officer out of Sioux Falls. We both attended the University of Northern Iowa where Jake earned a degree in Criminology. I later received a Bachelors Degree in Business from William Penn University. We have two children and we are hopeful that they will enjoy growing up in
Rock Rapids as much as we did. We have a daughter, Charlee Belle (2009), and a son, J.J. (2004), who loves going to Central Lyon Elementary School.
Along with working for Lyon County Chiropractic, I also enjoy being involved in the community as a member of the Rock Rapids Community Affairs Corporation Board, the Heritage Days Planning Committee, and the Rock Rapids Strategic Planning Committee. You might also find me on stage with the River Valley Players or singing at the Rock Rapids United Methodist Church. Jake and I both enjoy exercising and the outdoors, and look forward to going on RAGBRAI each summer. I also look forward to assisting Dr. Cody and Dr. Myrhe in helping you feel better!
