I grew up in the small rural farming community of Spencer, South Dakota, which later became better known as the town that almost blew away thanks to a devastating tornado. I am the oldest of four brothers Casey , Grant , Garrett . I am married to my high school sweetheart Jennifer who is the Director of Rehabilitative services for Sanford Health Luverne. We have three children Ethan (2004), Ephraim (2006) and Elliana (2008). They are the light of my life and we enjoy camping, wrestling and playing ball together as a family.
I did my undergraduate studies at Dakota Wesleyan University in Mitchell, South Dakota. DWU is a liberal arts college affiliated with the Methodist church. It was there that I completed
Education of other health care providers and future chiropractic students is an area of special interest to me. I have done several talks to Physical therapists and medical doctors educating them as to what chiropractic is and what the role of chiropractic, physical therapy and medicine should be in 21st century healthcare.
In May of 2004 we opened Lyon County Chiropractic here in Rock Rapids. We have been blessed since first opening. Jen and I knew no one when we moved to town and could not be more pleased with how warm and welcoming everyone has been. We love it here! The type and quality of people are two of the things we love most about our little town. The Lord has truly blessed us and we pray he continues to guide us!

I completed my graduate school work at Northwestern Health Sciences University in Bloomington, Minnesota. I graduated with my Doctor of Chiropractic degree in April of 2004. While at NWHSU I was blessed to serve as the student body President, Ambassador club President and traveled with the admissions and development teams.
