Meniere's Disease - What is it?

Meniere's disease is thought to be due to a buildup of excess fluid in the inner ear.  The excess fluid leads to increased pressure that distorts the inner ear causing episodes of severe vertigo, ringing in the ears, and hearing loss.

Symptoms arise in periodic attacks that can last several minutes to several days.  Attacks may occur as often as every few weeks or every few years.  Over time, hearing loss and ringing in the ears may persist between attacks.

I was having attacks every weekend in the spring and summer of 2004.  After having to go to the hospital every weekend, I decided there has to be something I can do to prevent this, so I started seeing the new chiropractor, Dr. Cody Hoefert.  He has changed my life, and my health has had a big change.  I no longer have to go to the hospital for relief from Meniere's disease.  I see Dr. Hoefert on a regular basis and I am feeling great.  I would not be able to do all the things I do if I was not seeing Dr. Hoefert.  He has changed my health and I am feeling great.

Thanks, Dr. Cody Hoefert.
