Meet Our Staff

I grew up in the small rural farming community of Spencer, South Dakota. I am married to my high school sweetheart, Jennifer, who is the Director of Rehabilitative Services for Sanford Health Luverne. We have four children—Ethan (2004), Ephraim (2006), Ellianna (2008), and Emmalynn (2010). We enjoy attending their sporting events and spending time at the lake.

I completed my undergraduate studies at Dakota Wesleyan University in Mitchell, South Dakota, graduating with Bachelor of Arts majors in biology and history with minors in chemistry and business administration.

I completed my graduate schoolwork at Northwestern Health Sciences University in Bloomington, Minnesota. I graduated with my Doctor of Chiropractic degree in April 2004.

Jen and I believe in giving back to our community, which is why we started a scholarship at Central Lyon High School awarded to a senior interested in health care. I also live by our Lyon County Chiropractic mission statement by serving on the Rock Rapids city council, being a member and past president of the Rock Rapids Kiwanis Club, being a past deacon at First Reformed Church, and being a past Chamber Board Member. I was honored to be selected as one of Northwest Iowa’s top business leaders under the age of 40 and one of the Iowa Chiropractic Society’s emerging leaders. I have been honored to serve as a mentor to numerous men and women entering the field of chiropractic.

Since Jen and I opened Lyon County Chiropractic in Rock Rapids in May 2004, we have been blessed beyond words. We are honored and proud to serve the people of Lyon County and impact their lives through healthcare. The type and quality of people that live here are what make this a great place for us to own a business and raise our family. The Lord has richly blessed us, and we ask for his continued blessing in the service of our patients!

My name is Dr. Nick Weber. I was born and raised in Osage, IA. My passion for chiropractic started in junior high, after a sports injury resulted in my first chiropractic adjustment. Amazed at the results, I quickly dedicated my life to pursuing a career as a chiropractor. Following high school, I completed my undergraduate studies at Buena Vista University in Storm Lake, IA. I graduated in 2005 with a Bachelor of Science degree with a major in biology and a minor in chemistry. After that, I completed my graduate studies at Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, IA. In my last year at Palmer, I had the opportunity to travel to India for two weeks and provide chiropractic care to the less fortunate. It was a life-changing experience! Several months later, I experienced one of the proudest moments of my life as I graduated valedictorian of my class, earning my Doctor of Chiropractic degree in 2008.

I am married to my high school sweetheart, Sarah, who works at Frontier Bank. We have 2 dogs and one son. My hobbies outside of work include watching high school sports and anything outdoors. I love to spend time hunting, fishing, and camping. I especially enjoy bow hunting and attending 3D target archery competitions throughout the Midwest.

Since moving to the area in 2012, I have become very active in the community. We love it here and try to give back as much as possible! Some of my accomplishments include:

Active member of the local Kiwanis Club, where I served for several years on the board, including presidential duties.

Past board member and active assistant coach for the Lyon’s Den youth wrestling team
Past assistant coach for the Lyon County Straight Shooters youth trap team
Light technician for the Annual River Valley Player’s musical

Taylor Bosch

Hello, my name is Taylor Bosch. I am a chiropractic assistant at Lyon County Chiropractic. I work part-time and stay home with our two beautiful children, Ellie (2016) and Emmett (2020), the days I am not working.

I am married to a wonderful and loving husband, Dustin Bosch. He is self-employed and operates Hometown Handyman. Ellie, Emmett, and I enjoy bringing him lunch on my days off and spending time with him. He also helps his dad on the farm as much as he can. Our daughter, Ellie, has such a sweet and caring personality. She loves to play outside and is such a great helper around the house. She also is an awesome big sister! Our son, Emmett, is such a sweet boy! He loves anything and everything John Deere and tractors and being outside!

We live just outside of Rock Rapids on an acreage and love being able to enjoy the outdoors. Rock Rapids is such a great community, and we feel blessed to raise our family here in this wonderful town.

In my spare time, you can find me spending time with my family and friends, leading children and worship at First Reformed Church, being a Sunday school teacher, singing in the praise team, spending time outside, being at the farm, baking and cooking, going on walks, and being actively involved in our lovely community.

I am grateful to be part of this wonderful team at Lyon County Chiropractic and look forward to serving you.

Katie Boender

My name is Katie Boender, and I enjoy being a chiropractic assistant at Lyon County Chiropractic. I live on an acreage with my husband, Mark, and our family! We all enjoy the benefits of chiropractic care, especially for my cross-country athletes. I also substitute teach, and I enjoy the change of pace at the clinic. You can see me most Monday mornings and Saturdays helping at the clinic.

I enjoy gardening and canning in my free time during the summer as well as helping my daughters with their 4-H projects. We love to be outside when the weather is nice and enjoy swimming as a family. Our animals are a huge part of our lives as we raise pigs, cows, sheep, chickens, and, of course, many, many cats. In colder weather, we can be found playing board games or putting together puzzles in our spare time. I love to cook big meals and usually could feed the entire neighborhood. We are also a foster family, so we never know what our family might look like on any given day. This has been an amazing experience for us so far. I also serve meals at our church every week during the school year and love the challenges feeding 125 people can bring. Serving others is always good, but I do love spending quiet time with my family as well.

Carrie Borman

My name is Carrie Borman; I am a chiropractic assistant at Lyon County Chiropractic. My husband Kip and our two boys, Micah and Maverick, are proud to call Rock Rapids our hometown. We all love good Chiropractic care, and everyone here at Lyon County Chiropractic is very welcoming and caring. I am so proud to be a part of this team. My husband Kip serves on the Rock Rapids Volunteer Fire Department. I love to help in the community in any way I can. My kids are very active in all sports, love being outdoors, and we are proud supporters of all Central Lyon activities.

We enjoy spending time outside in the sun during the summer. We also enjoy going to the races as a family and my boy's race as well, so we are very busy on the weekends with them racing. We are very family orientated. We love to be with family and friends, that means a lot to us. Christmas is my favorite holiday. I love to give gifts. When it is cold out, you can find me snuggling under a nice warm blanket, watching Christmas movies all year long.
